Greetings Women Resting in God’s Grace,
The other morning my husband and I were discussing the bigger picture for WRIGG (he is my coach). These sessions often get challenging and heated and this one was no exception. When I sayheated I mean I am the one heated and my hubby remains calm, cool, and collect LOL!
When you are moving into the bigger vision that the Lord has foryou it requires more from you; more faith, accepting who you really are in Christ, determination, more faith, more faith, more faith, and more faith (and other stuff). Almost every idea, comment, and questions my hubby coach made my answer started with one word…but. Oh goodness, I feel like hiding just telling you all about my hot mess self; but how, but when, but where, but I can’t, but what will, but you don’t understand. Through it all my loving hubby coach smiled and answered with much patience instead of shaking me and saying, “What is wrong with you woman! You know better than this!” To tell you the truth I should have shaken myself to the foot of Jesus at that very moment with my shenanigans. Okay, let’s get back to the point of all of this.
This stuff gets really hard; however, we cannot allow the vision to be clouded by our buts’. I know I am not the only one and that is why I am urging you today to get rid of your buts’. Your “but” only serves as a means to keep you focused on yourself and you can’t do with your resources, knowledge, and strength and it places limits on what God can do and will do.
The territory that the Lord has us to take is not a walk in the park so don’t expect it to be. This is serious business. This is war. Not everyone is up for the fight and few will see the fullness of God’s plan unfold in their lives because it gets too hard and they either stop or choose a path that is easier and not the Lord’s best. Don’t give up and take the focus off of you and put it on Jesus.
When the next impossible thing the Lord has for you presents itself just say, “BUT GOD!” instead of a pitiful excuse. Our God’s knows what He is doing and knows what you are capable of with His help so don’t doubt Him. God bless you all on today. His grace is sufficient so rest in it.
