Day 21 – 21 Days of Rest
The Lord has given each of us a measure of grace to be who He has called us to be and to do what He has called us to do. The measure you have been dealt is not better or less than anyone else. God gives you exactly what you need. Don’t turn to the left or right looking at others trying to go at their pace and trying to mimic what they do because you think it looks better. Being out of your lane will cause you to miss open doors and become ineffective. If you get out of your lane running someone else’s race there will be NO anointing for you there. Stay in your lane! #WhenGraceFlows
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.-Ephesians 4:7
Day 20 - 21 Days of Rest
We don’t have to hustle and grind to make our name great. God does that. When we trust and obey Him He not only makes our name great but He gives security, and we can be sure we are walking in His purpose. Can’t get better than that! He knows in the end who is going to make HIS name greater.
Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”-Genesis 12:1-3
Day 19 – 21 Days of Rest
When you understand the power of God’s grace you will know that it’s supernatural. Many don’t understand it. God’s grace forgives us and forgives others even when we think they don’t deserve it. The grace of God working in our lives allows us to forgive others for their trespasses against us. God’s grace restores, protects, delivers, provides, redeems, loves, and saves. It’s a free gift and many still don’t get it because it does not make sense. It seems foolish to them that someone would do “all that” for them or anyone else for that matter. Stop trying to understand things in the natural. It’s time to go deeper. It’s a Spirit thing… #WhenGraceFlows
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.-1 Corinthians 2:14
Day 18 – 21 Days of Rest
As believers we no longer have to live like we did before Christ. We don’t have to be a slave to sin and we don’t abuse the grace of God to keep on sinning as if we do not believe. But by the grace of God we have strength to resist the temptations of sin.
And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.-Romans 6:13
Day 17 – 21 Days of Rest
Sometimes we keep going to God about something and we hear no. Since we want we want, we cannot possibly accept no because if we keep on seeking, asking, and knocking the door will be opened right? We keep trying to open doors that the Lord has shut and will not open. Because once again He is trying to get your attention but we want what we want. As we move forward in intimacy with the King of Kings; delighting ourselves in Him, His desires become our desires. We will not push to make our own way but we will accept His “NO” as His will, His answer. Trust God’s process…trust His plan…trust His “no.”
Day 16 – 21 Days of Rest
We have a need to control; because we are trying to be perfect, not look like a fool or liar, afraid of rejection, and afraid of failure. Find rest in the Lord because His way is perfect. Walk in the fruit of the Spirit and exercise self-control. Give it to God. No matter the outcome you have to trust that He loves you, He is good, He has good in store for you, He is working it all out, and it is well with your soul. Girl, God ain’t missing a beat when it comes to you! Fall back! He got you (SMILE).
Day 15 – 21 Days of Rest
Pride comes easy when we are out there getting our “hustle on.” When we hustle we take the credit because after all, we have relied on our own strength, efforts, and resources. “Congratulations,” they say, “you deserve it!” Where is God getting the glory in that? Think about it. Once we lay down the hustle, put away the pride, and humble ourselves by asking God to come into the situation (with His strength and help) we have opened the gates to let grace flow. You have humbled yourself and asked the Lord to give you something you don’t deserve…His Grace. It’s enough!
Rest on this Sunday knowing you got a seat!
“To live as God’s child is to know, at this very instant, that you are loved by your Maker not because you try to please him and succeed, or fail to please him and apologize, but because he wants to be your Father. Nothing more. All your efforts to win his affection are unnecessary. All your fears of losing his affection are needless. You can no more make him want you than you can convince him to abandon you. The adoption is irreversible. You have a place at his table.” –Max Lucado
Day 13 – 21 Days of Rest
We see God’s grace in the book of Esther. Esther fasted and prayed and said she would go to the king, which was dangerous. But she made up in her mind and said, “If I perish, I perish.” She went before the king and found favor in his sight and he granted her request. She was able to save a nation. We don’t have to fear when coming before our KING. Glory! We can boldly to the throne of grace so that we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb 4:16). How about that? Thank you JESUS! Position yourself with prayer. #WhenGraceFlows
Day 12 – 21 Days of Rest
We have to stop murmuring and complaining about our situation and send up praise instead. Complaining and whining will not add a drop of anything good to your life. But the Lord has called us to rejoice always. If that’s that case, the moment we start murmuring and complaining we get out of position of the grace flow. Don’t give up. Praise is sacrificial. It’s offering time!
