Good Day Ladies,
Today has been very interesting to say the least. As I got up from my time with the Lord I was hit with many things. There was the cooking of breakfast, seeing husband off to work and then several emails to respond to and then requests; some good and some I did not want to do.
Somedays you just think is there just not enough to do already!? I talked to a dear woman of God who gave me some good reminders and words of wisdom. I squirmed a little because I knew she was right but I was of course thinking about my own self for a minute and I had to die to this ole flesh. For a moment I just wanted to go back to my spot and be with Jesus for the rest of the day and maybe week perhaps and hide. However, as I pulled myself together I encouraged myself not to make this hard.
Women of God you may have much to do on your list but you can rest in knowing that you are not alone. When I say that you are not alone I mean that you are NOT doing this alone by any means. God’s grace is sufficient for each task ahead. I am a living witness that as long as the Lord allows His grace to be my personal assistant I know that I accomplish everything that I am supposed to be doing.
You may have to do a few things that you think are inconveniences in your time but they are not. You may have more to do now that you have ever had to do before. You may be thinking that it is quitting time because you cannot possibly do ALL OF THIS; but you can’t quit and you know it. You may feel that you are all alone on this journey, but you are not.
Whatever the load is please try not to make it so hard in your mind. We are good at making things more than what they are when we think too long. Do one thing at a time and praise the Lord all the way through. Do what you can and allow the Lord to handle the rest. You will be amazed at what can be accomplished when we rest in God’s grace. You will be amazed when you see how His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Our God can do some amazing things through us. Trust Him today!
Only By His Grace
